Meet Our Staff:
Matt Tees - Executive Director
I serve as Executive Director at Camp DeWolfe. I grew up in Philadelphia and was fortunate to attend and serve at different summer camps throughout the East Coast. Summer camp was always something that I looked forward to and was an enormous piece of my faith formation. Throughout my college years I was able to lead various outdoor education, challenge course, camping, and wilderness adventure programs with children between the ages of 7 and 17. I graduated in 2008 from Western New England University (Springfield, MA) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Marketing, Communications/Advertising. Since being married, Emma and I have worked together at different organizations throughout the United States. Our one guide has been God’s leading and continual draw on each of our hearts to serve and build His global church. One of my favorite verses is Matthew 28:18 where Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Emma Tees - Program Director
I am the Program Director at Camp DeWolfe. I was born and raised in England. During college, I spent my summers serving at different summer camps in the USA, including an Episcopal camp where I met my husband, Matt Tees. After graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Surrey in 2006, I was an EFL teacher in South Korea. Matt and I were married in 2008 where we served at an inner city youth center in Massachusetts, then as Graduate Program Assistants at Wheaton College’s camp, Honeyrock, in northern Wisconsin. Before moving to Long Island in 2011, we were Family Teachers for at-risk youth at a private residential school called Mooseheart, in Illinois. I came to know Christ as a young adult, and God has turned my life around in the years since. A meaningful Bible verse for me is “We can do everything through Christ who gives us strength.” (Phil 4:13). God has given me a passion for youth, for serving the poor and those in need. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve in camp ministry, where lives are changed when people experience God in the outdoors and in community.
Tina DeGolyer - Food Service Manager
I was born and raised in Wading River and upon graduation from our local high school, Iona College, NY accepted me into their Bachelors of Arts, Business Program. After graduating in 1990, I was equipped with my degree and several internships, including in Restaurants and Hospitality, so I then began my post college career. Happily, I met my future husband who was already in Food Service. Fortunately, our vision for life, career and children compliment our passion for food! As my husband and I grew as partners in life, we also grew our business horizons expanding into deli’s, college food service and our full service catering organization, that includes parties, events, weddings, showers, holidays, industrial and our local ‘Out East Winery’s.’ Since 2006, I have had the opportunity to cater for Camp DeWolfe. Following the 2011 renovations, I now serve at the Food Service Manager for Camp DeWolfe. It is with great pleasure I have accepted this role. See you at the Father John Davis Hall. Bon Appetito!
