Meet Our Staff:
Matt Tees - Executive Director
I serve as Executive Director at Camp DeWolfe. I grew up in Philadelphia and was fortunate to attend and serve at different summer camps throughout the East Coast. Summer camp was always something that I looked forward to and was an enormous piece of my faith formation. Throughout my college years I was able to lead various outdoor education, challenge course, camping, and wilderness adventure programs with children between the ages of 7 and 17. I graduated in 2008 from Western New England University (Springfield, MA) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Marketing, Communications/Advertising. I am also studying for an MBA currently. Since being married, Emma and I have worked together at different organizations throughout the United States. Our one guide has been God’s leading and continual draw on each of our hearts to serve and build His global church. One of my favorite verses is Matthew 28:18 where Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Angela Ramos- Program Coordinator
I was born and raised on Long Island currently residing in Shoreham with my husband and two boys. I have been a Human Resources professional for over 12 years working in various environments. I am a certified coach and have enjoyed mentoring individuals from all walks of life to see their own true potential with the help and guidance of being a mentor all of these years. I attended Quinnipiac University as an undergraduate where I studied Industrial/Organizational Psychology and continued to pursue my graduate education in Organizational Management at St. Joseph’s College where I obtained my masters in Organizational Management and my M.B.A. I have enjoyed dancing since youth along with reading or listening to biographies and learning about others’ lives and adventures they have taken. I am ready to take on a new adventure here at Camp DeWolfe. I am grateful to have this opportunity to work with the Camp DeWolfe community and begin a new journey working with the counselors and staff coordinating programs and retreats. My favorite poem is by Robert Frost which states, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference”. I am looking forward to making a difference in all of your experiences here at Summer Camp or at a retreat at Camp DeWolfe.
Tina DeGolyer - Food Service Manager
I was born and raised in Wading River and upon graduation from our local high school, Iona College, NY accepted me into their Bachelors of Arts, Business Program. After graduating in 1990, I was equipped with my degree and several internships, including in Restaurants and Hospitality, so I then began my post college career. Happily, I met my future husband who was already in Food Service. Fortunately, our vision for life, career and children compliment our passion for food! As my husband and I grew as partners in life, we also grew our business horizons expanding into deli’s, college food service and our full service catering organization, that includes parties, events, weddings, showers, holidays, industrial and our local ‘Out East Winery’s.’ Since 2006, I have had the opportunity to cater for Camp DeWolfe. Following the 2011 renovations, I now serve at the Food Service Manager for Camp DeWolfe. It is with great pleasure I have accepted this role. See you at the Father John Davis Hall. Bon Appetito!
