A big thanks to those who supported Camp Staff, Matt and Emma Tees, in their participation in the Hampton’s Half Marathon! Over $1200 has been raised by friends, family and supporters of the ministry. They both completed the 13.1 mile run on September 24th 2011, with a joint time of 2 hours, 8 minutes! (9.53 minute mile). The event was community building as over 2000 partipants ran the Half-Marathon and 500 more ran the Marathon. This was the 5th annual Hamptons’ Event. The rain held off but the humidity was high! Congratulations to Father Patrick Ward from the St Mark’s Episcopal Church in Westhampton who ran this event in preparation for the Philadelphia Marathon in November.Check Full Race Results here!Be encouraged today to run the race as ‘We can do all things through CHRIST who gives us strength.’ (Philippians 4:13).
