On Saturday 17th September, a group of faithful volunteers from the local community and from Christ Church, Oyster Bay, served at Camp DeWolfe! The final heated cabin was painted with a coat of interior white paint! The team were dedicated and servant-hearted, as they each gave of their busy schedules to attend the final Service Saturday of the season. This fall, we continue to welcome more volunteers during the weekdays to join us in painting Benson Retreat House during the remainder of September and they the interior walls of the 8 summer cabins during October. If you can give a morning, afternoon, full day or more, during the weekdays, please call the Camp Office at (631) 929-4325 or email Emma on etees@campdewolfe.org and join us in painting some of the buildings that will not be having contracted work done.We are encouraged, honored and thankful for the 150 + volunteers who have given their time to serve at Camp DeWolfe this summer season for Service Saturdays. What a people! We hope and pray that we can all continue to give of our time, talents and resources to serve in Kingdom works, which ever part of Long Island, New York state, country or part of the world we find ourselves.”Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)
