What’s your favorite camp activity and why? – My favorite camp activity is the sports and games as most of the games and sports, you get to work as a team so I think that would bring the children closer as they try and achieve a certain goal. I also like the ice breaker games very much as they just help in getting everyone comfortable around each other.
What are you most looking forward to about summer and why? – I am looking forward to learning more about myself and working with the children and try and help them with their Christian walk with Christ. I am also looking forward to making new friends and acquiring more skills. I am also looking forward to growing more in Christ as I try and emulate him more through my deeds.
What’s your favorite camp core value (community, Christian Formation, Developing Leaders or Natural Setting) and Why? – My favorite camp core value is Christian formation, reason being it encourages campers to develop their personal relationship with God as it is done on a daily basis. It encourages the campers to then dedicate some time of their day to God when they do leave camp. This therefore would lead to them growing in Christ and also being comfortable in their relationship with God therefore making them faith stronger as they constantly meditate in God’s word. I also like that it gets other people to share their stories about what God is doing, has done therefore also offers encouragement to other campers.
What do you love most about Camp DeWolfe? – I love that Camp Dewolfe is a Christian camp that also sets time to worship God encourages us to grow more in our faith as we also help the children grow in theirs. From the pictures that I have seen on the website, I love the look of the camp and the different activities that they have going on for the children to do.
