Hello Camp DeWolfe Family!
We have just finished off our first week of Adventure Camp and Leadership in Training Camp! It’s crazy how fast a week of camp can go by!
We hope you have gotten a chance to check out our other blogs from the summer, if not, take a second to read those below first.
This has been a great week so far. Our campers have been exploring camp as kings and queens on the quest for the Holy Grail. This week campers have had a great time participating in a number of activities. Our rocketry crew just launch their rockets yesterday. Our arts and crafts group has been putting some medieval stained glass window mirages together.
We have seen some awesome archers participating in our archery class. Sports and games have been working on some awesome sports skills.
Campers in our waterfront activities have been learning the ropes in sailing, canoeing, and kayaking. Our musicians got to learn a song to play in chapel on Friday Morning. Our mountain bikers have been rolling all over camp! It’s been a great week in all our activities.
Our LIT (Leaders in Training) Campers have been helping with many of those activities and they have been participating in offsite service projects. Tuesday and Thursday this week they collected food for the Island Harvest Food Bank. The collected enough food goods to feed over 500 meals!
We are looking forward to another week of fun and service! Stay tuned for our next blog!
