This summer camp’s Christian Formation Program is titled “All Things New” from Inside/Out Christian Resources for Outdoor Ministries. This 2013 program focuses on what God is doing daily in our world and in our lives. This program helps campers and camp leaders see God at work around us as we explore the fullness of God, and who God created us to be and do. The themes that will be explored are:

  • A New Thing– Isaiah 43: 19-21

Campers will hear God’s invitation to do a new thing in their lives at camp and in their communities.

  • New Creation–Psalm 104: 24-33; Genesis 1-2:3

Creation is past, present, and future–and we are a part of it.

  • New Shape–Jeremiah 18: 1-11, Isaiah 64:8

God is always working with me; I need to be open to God’s shaping like clay in the potter’s hands.

  • New Creativity–2 Chronicles 34: Exodus 31:1-31

God gave me gifts and I need to use them.

  • New Understanding–Act 17: 19-34

I’m accepted. God is with me. God calls me to know God more and to take the next steps of faith and discipleship.

  • New Life–Ephesians 4: 24; Romans 6:4; Galatians 3:28; Acts 11:26

I’m going to live more fully for and with God. God will constantly be renewing me. I can always grow up more and more in Christ.

We are excited to see how God will use these activities and programming to grow campers and staff in faith formation and develop as leaders for Christ! Please join us as we pray for this summer to be focused on Christ and His work in each camper’s heart.
