“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” – Malachi 3:10

God certainly poured out His blessings on Camp DeWolfe this weekend – bringing the spring weather, the blue skies, the calm waters, the sun and sand, all for the 50 retreat guests from NYC here for their leadership weekend retreat and the 30 volunteers for the Service Saturday. What a blessing to have Boy Scout Troop 300 from St George’s Hempstead and Youth from Epiphany and St Simon’s Church in Brooklyn, plus local volunteers from Mount Sinai Congregational Church, and Board member David Cannon from St Mark’s Church Islip! Groups set to community service working on various projects from: staining camp fire benches, to raking the field, to finishing work on the new challenge course shed, to making a new gaga court, to clearing an area and laying foundations for a new beach shed, to building a sail boat rack!

Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and lunch together in the Davis Hall, and played basketball to celebrate their projects to finish their Service Saturday! What a blessing from the Lord!
