As we close out 2013 we want to THANK YOU for your faithfulness, prayers and support to Camp DeWolfe. Thank you for choosing to support the vision of your Camp to “enable spiritual formation in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island; by providing a natural setting for people to engage in community and empower them to live out an outward and visible expression of the love and grace of Christ.”
On behalf of the campers from this summer, we thank you and wish to share some of their thoughts:“You’re constantly doing something and actively participating. The food’s amazing, the counselors are really fun and I like how you get to meet people from different cultures and see how they live… Camp is a great way to get to know new people. You run around all day and you learn about God.”
We prepare for 2014 with anticipation, knowing that God has a plan for Camp DeWolfe’s summer camp ministry and retreat/hospitality ministry, to continue changing lives by sharing Christ. As you think about year-end giving, please remember Camp DeWolfe as we embrace this Advent season. You can give online here or mail in a check to ‘Camp DeWolfe’. Every gift is appreciated, and every gift makes a difference.
With Christmas upon us, there is so much to be thankful for. We’re thankful for you and your heart for this ministry. It is—to be sure—an encouragement to campers and staff at Camp DeWolfe and also to the greater community across the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. We look forward to seeing you at Camp DeWolfe soon. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and blessings for a joyful New Year, in Christ alone!
“And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven” (Luke 1:78-78)
